This cut-point demonstrated a sensitivity of 66%, a specificity of 60%, a positive predictive value of 50%, and a negative predictive value of 75%. The MADRS performed slightly better for major depressive disorders compared to alcohol-induced depression. Items related to lassitude, concentration, and appetite slightly decreased the accuracy of the MADRS. Conclusions: The MADRS does not appear to be an appropriate substitute for a diagnostic tool among alcohol-dependent patients. The MADRS may, however, still be a useful screening tool assuming careful consideration of cut-points.]]> Wed 04 Sep 2019 10:05:19 AEST ]]> Artificial neural network computer tomography perfusion prediction of ischemic core https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:36875 Thu 04 Nov 2021 10:38:49 AEDT ]]> Post hoc choice of cut points introduced bias to diagnostic research https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:1196 Sat 24 Mar 2018 10:42:26 AEDT ]]> Scoring the home falls and accidents screening tool for health professionals (HOME FAST-HP): Evidence from one epidemiological study https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:47596 Mon 23 Jan 2023 14:56:34 AEDT ]]> The validity of the state–trait anxiety inventory and the brief scale for anxiety in an inpatient sample with alcohol use disorder https://nova.newcastle.edu.au/vital/access/ /manager/Repository/uon:49042 Mon 22 Apr 2024 14:18:14 AEST ]]>
